Master of the dunes ! This one is a must have it is in my top 3 and is always in my rotation for the week .
I liked this one so much i also purchased the matching cologne, unbelievable scent profile that changes throughout the day like all of Alex's products you need to try them to understand what the difference is between his products and the others . There is no comparison . The scents change throughout the day so you need to actually put them on and wear it for the day to appreciate it and not just smell the bottles that is impossible to get the tru scent profile that is designed to activate with your skin and beard . It is so hard to put the scent profile into words it is definitely one of my favorites, you dont know what your missing until you try it !

I received my Magic of the Dunes oil and balm combo today. I waited FAR too long to buy from NBW. Of all of the products I have tried from anyone else I have never been "wowed" when opening a beard mail. The bottles are works of art to themselves. The scent on this one is heavenly in both the oil and balm, and the feel in beard is second to none. If you have even glanced at anything in the lineup, get it now. You will be glad you did. Or you can be like me and get it later and kick yourself that you waited. Thank you NBW.

Very complex and unique scent. The scent also lasts along time too. You will get different layers of the scent profile all day. It changes all day. I really enjoy the raspberry ash. Favorite scent. Great quality oil. I will just say best quality oil out there.

Let me start by saying receiving a package from Nicholas Beard Works is like an early Christmas. Unboxing the items is like a special event - not to mention the samples. Being able to communicate with Alex before the order is a huge plus for any special requests. On to the purchase.. I was trying to decide between King Oudh & Magic of the Dunes and decided on the later but requested a sample of King Oudh to compare. I'm very happy with my choice. Nothing wrong with King Oudh, but it is (to me) a more powerful and maybe "vibrant" smelling scent compared to the Dunes. Maybe the rose adds what I'm describing as vibrant, I'm not an expert at these things. The scents are complex and hard to describe, but I get some smokiness with the Dunes in a good way (maybe that's the magic, but probably just the ashy raspberry). I also opted for the hydrating butter in the combo which is my first pump butter. The butter has a lotion texture when pumped and no greasy residue which is perfect! I've had the oil in my beard for about 4+ hours now and I can still pick up on light scents from. You really just can't go wrong with any product from Alex. The packaging, turn around time, service, display, products, you name it.. they are all top notch. Well done sir!

This is such a beautiful and intoxicating scent. Yes we know this feel in beard is the best but let's talk about Magic of the Dunes as a scent. It makes me feel like I'm driving a Bentley, living in a mansion, and famous! It's a beautiful blend that just puts me in the best mood. When a beard company makes my mood change or feel more confident, I truly have found the best. It's definitely not your typical tea tree or citrus so if that's what your like then your at the wrong place! NBW has set the standard for the rest. Alex your truly the man💯
